Myrtle Beach police are investigating an overnight stabbing.
Officers were called to Chapin Park on North Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach for a stabbing Sunday around 9:30 p.m.
The 48-year-old victim had multiple stab wounds to his head, back and hands, according to the police report.
The victim told police a man approached him from behind and stabbed him in the back.
While the victim tried to get away, the man continued to "stab wildly at the victim," according to the report.
The man took off toward Chester Street.
The victim was taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
No arrests have been made.
