Man shot in Myrtle Beach, police looking for suspect
Saturday morning Myrtle Beach police officers heard gun shots around 9th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard, according to Lt. Joey Crosby with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
When officers got on scene, Lt. Crosby said they found a man with a non-life threatening gun shot wound. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay.
Lt. Crosby said the investigation showed a group of people were fighting on Ocean Boulevard when a man pulled out a gun and started firing. He said the victim was watching the fight and was struck by bullets.
Police said the suspect is a black male and was wearing a blue jacket with a white strip on his shoulder and carrying a brown backpack.

A second shooting happened on Sunday morning just before 1 a.m. near 6th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard, according to Lt. Crosby.
When officers got on scene, Lt. Crosby said they found a person with a non-life threatening injuries. They were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay.
Police are investigating the incident.
