Man shot in arm outside North Myrtle Beach bar

A 38-year-old man was shot in the arm around 3:30 a.m. Friday outside Little John's Bar & Grill on 6th Avenue South in North Myrtle Beach. Police have not released his name but have learned he is a fugitive from justice.

Police have not said where he's wanted or why.

They say surveillance video shows he and two other men, ages 26 and 27, got into a verbal argument. Police say the video then shows the two men going to their cars, getting guns, and shooting at the victim in his car.

Police arrested one of the men at the scene and the other returned to the scene after being called on the phone by police.

We are waiting to learn the exact charges they face.

The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment, and police say he intentionally gave a wrong name and date of birth. When officers learned his true identity, they found out he was a fugitive.

A spokesman for North Myrtle Beach says it could be Monday before a formal incident report is ready because of the ongoing investigation.
