Police say a man was kidnapped, robbed and shot Saturday morning while stopped at an intersection in Robeson County, NC.
Around 8 a.m., a man stopped at the intersection of Ivy Road and Regan Road near East Howellsville and two men who were in a truck behind him jumped into his vehicle and held him at gunpoint, according to Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealy.
Both men were wearing masks. The victim started to struggle with the suspects and one of suspect's mask came off, said Sealy.
The suspects then forced the victim in their truck, drove him to a wooded area nearby and shot him, according to Sealy.
The victim jumped into a creek and was later taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, added Seally.
The two suspects stole the victim's red 2000 Ford F-150.
The victim did not have a description of the suspects or their truck.
