UPDATE: A woman was arrested Friday night for stabbing a man in Myrtle Beach.
Myrtle Beach Police officers were dispatched to 800 Columbia Drive for an attempted murder and stolen vehicle, according to the Myrtle Beach Police report.
When officers arrived there was blood on the door and floor. After calling out for the victim, they learned he was down the road and other officers were out with him.
The victim was taken to the hospital with multiple stab wounds. He is in serious but stable condition, said Captain David Knipes with Myrtle Beach police.
After clearing the house, officers were searching for a stolen vehicle.
The Horry County Police Department had located the offender and the stolen vehicle.
The offender stole the man's vehicle, a pearl white 2013 Ford Taurus after assaulting him and drove it to an ex-boyfriend's house, according to Sgt. Janet Waldorf with the Myrtle Beach Police Department..
Gayle Halee Gieger, 26, is charged with attempted murder, possession of weapon during a violent crime, kidnapping and grand larceny, according to Sgt. Waldorf.
