Horry County police have arrested Randy Gale Robinson, after serving a search warrant on Sullivan Drive in Murrells Inlet

in connection with the disappearance of Angela Pipkin, and charged him with her murder.

Robinson was arrested and charged with Obstruction of Justice February 28 in connection with the case.

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and Horry County police spent Thursday at the Cashua Ferry Landing in Darlington County, searching the Great Pee Dee River for Pipkin's body.

The search was called off around 3:30 Thursday, but her body was not found. Darlington County Sheriff Wayne Byrd says they're not sure if they will resume the search on Friday.

Pipkin was last seen January 16, when her grandfather dropped her off at the IGA in Aynor to meet a friend.

After six days went by and no one heard from Angie, her family reported her missing on January 22.

A few weeks ago, Horry County police released new details saying Angie was seen on surveillance video on Socastee Boulevard just after 9:30 at night on January 16.
