A Virginia man is being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center after Myrtle Beach police say he held a woman against her will and raped her at a hotel on Ocean Boulevard Saturday.

Jeremiah Ryan Hill, 31, is charged with Kidnapping, 1st Degree Criminal Sexual Conduct and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime, according to the Myrtle Beach police report.

Officers responded to 1404 South Ocean Boulevard around 11:45 p.m. for a disturbance call. Police found Hill on the third floor of the hotel so intoxicated he could barely speak, the report said.
