Man arrested breaking into a home, day after wishing them Merry Christmas

Police arrested Anthony Templin, 30, Monday evening in connection to an armed robbery at a home in Myrtle Beach.

On December 16, Myrtle Beach Police responded to an armed robbery in a home on Ragin street.

A victim told police that he was asleep when a man wearing a ski mask forced open the door and put a gun to his head, according to a police report.

The victim then told police that the man told him not to move or he would shoot everyone in the home.

The man took cash and 20 Oxycoton pills. The victim told police he recognized the man's voice as the cousin of a friend.

Both victims inside the home said the man had come by and wished them a Merry Christmas the day before.

Templin is charged with Armed Robbery, Burglary, Possesion of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, and Possession of a Controled Substance.
