Man accused of threatening to blow up daycare centers

olice charged Krunal Harshad Patel, 30, with Conspiracy to Threaten Real or Personal Property and Possession with Intent To Distribute Marijuana.

Patel got upset after pharmacists at the Walmart on North Beltline Drive in Florence told him his prescription drug medication had been canceled, according to Major Carlos Raines with Florence police.

Patel threatened to blow up Walmart and his doctor's office

, Raines said, and then a daycare center in Florence.

Patel then left the store in anger, swearing at the pharmacist, according to Raines.

Walmart management called police


Officers found
Patel at his home on Old Ebenezer Road. He was was smoking marijuana, they say.

Patel's bond was set at $70,000.
