Man accused of spitting in Myrtle Beach police officer's face

Lamond Foster

A Myrtle Beach man has been arrested after police say he spit in an officer's face, according to a police report.

The Myrtle Beach police officer was called to the Hess Wilco Gas Station on Mr. Joe White Avenue Thursday morning for a disturbance.

The officer was told Lamond Foster, 22, of Myrtle Beach was kicking windows out of the gas station and throwing trash cans, according to the police report.

It said Foster had also broken a glass window and was spitting.

When the officer got to the scene, Foster threw a trash can at the police cruiser, the report said.

The officer ordered him to the ground then handcuffed Foster.

When the officer put him up against the patrol vehicle, police say Foster turned around and spit in the officer's face.

Foster was arrested and is being held in the Myrtle Beach jail.

He's charged with Throwing of Bodily Fluids.
