MADD report shows need for South Carolina DUI Reform

A new report put out by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) rated states based on five criteria for addressing drunk driving.
South Carolina received three out of five stars, according to the report.
It goes on to say South Carolina has one of the worst drunk driving records in the country, prompting the organization to call for change.
MADD says in order to improve the rating, South Carolina legislators need to "break the state's pattern of unacceptably high rates of drunk driving deaths by passing an all-offender ignition interlock bill coupled with strong enforcement activities."
