The Food and Drug Administration wants tighter restrictions on some of the most commonly prescribed narcotic pain killers.
National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, a free and anonymous service, will be available at thousands of locations across the United States, with collection sites open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) said in a news release.
Below is a list of local locations for the take back:
North Myrtle Beach - WalMart - 550 Highway 17 North.
Georgetown County - Midway Fire Rescue Headquarters on 67 St. Paul's Place in Pawleys Island and the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at 430 N. Fraser Street.
Florence County - Palmetto Street Church of God at W. Palmetto Street in Florence.
Darlington County - Darlington County sheriff's office at 1621 Harry Byrd Highway and 400 Pearl Street in Darlington.
Bennettsville - WalMart at 1250 Bennettsville Square.
