Lee County man with dementia and diabetes missing


According to the Lee County Sheriff's Office, he has been found safe.

The Lee County Sheriff's Office is looking for an 81-year-old man who walked away from his house Thursday afternoon.

Cecil Edwin Clanton was last seen at his home on Woodham Road in the Ashland community around 3pm or 3:30pm after his wife woke up from a nap.

Mrs. Clanton says he walked out of the house wearing his blue and white sleep pants, white t-shirt, black socks and may have had on bedroom slippers.

He takes medications for both dementia and diabetes.
