The South Carolina Department of Criminal Justice has suspended the law enforcement certifications of Eric Walters and Frankie Brown.
They were fired from the Marion Police Department last Friday after being charged with Misconduct In Office and Assault and Battery First Degree.
Warrants say the officers used excessive force while arresting a woman two weeks ago.
They're accused of shocking her with a shock gun numerous times.
The officers face up to ten years in prison, if convicted on the charges.
Brown and Walters are out of jail on a $10,000 personal recognizance bond.
