Laurinburg Police ask for help identifying men, car in connection with shooting

Laurinburg police say they now know where a woman was shot before she was dropped off at the Scotland Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, according to Laurinburg Police Chief Darwin Williams.

Thr 19-year-old woman was dropped off at Scotland Memorial Hospital around 6 o'clock Thursday evening, and police are asking for the public to help them gather information about the two men who dropped her off there.

The vehicle that the two men were driving is described as a tan or champagne Mercury Marquis. A picture of the car and of the two men can be found above.

Anyone with information concerning the vehicle, subjects or circumstances of the incident are urged to contact the Laurinburg Police Department at 910-276-3211.

Williams said investigators are working the crime scene to gain leads on those involved in the shooting.
