From the West Florence Fire Department

A fire at a 28,000 square foot warehouse on Railroad Avenue in Lamar is out after four days of burning, according to Chief Kenney Stratton with the Darlington County Fire District.

The fire destroyed the warehouse and more than 1,100 bales of hay stored inside the building.

Officials say total damages were nearly $500,000.

More than 100 firefighters from across South Carolina responded to the fire when it started Thursday afternoon.

Lamar Police Chief Charles Woodle said three boys ages 11,12, and 13 started the fire.

They're each charged with Arson and Burglary.

The boys have been released to the custody of their parents.
