      1 p.m. - Fifth Annual Salute From The Shore - Myrtle Beach area shoreline

      2 to 5 p.m. - Third Annual Cupcake Eating Contest - Croissants Bistro and Bakery in Myrtle Beach

      4 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Family 4th at the Common - The Market Common in Myrtle Beach

      4 p.m. to 10 p.m. - Fourth of July Celebration at Darlington Raceway

      5 p.m. to 8 p.m. - Bluegrass music, various bands - Lynches River County Park in Coward

      7 p.m. - 4th of July Celebration with the Indigo Chorale Society - lawn of the Kaminski House Museum in Georgetown
