      House fire in Georgetown sends man to hospital


      A man was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation after a fire in Georgetown Thursday morning, according to Chief Joey Tanner with the Georgetown Fire Department.


      It started around 8:45 a.m. Thursday at a home on Winyah Street.


      Tanner said two people were living in the home.


      The fire appeared to have started in a wood stove, but the official cause is under investigation.
