Horry County police have charged a Galivants Ferry woman with Murder in the stabbing death of a man on Methodist Rehobeth Road on Christmas Eve.
Connie Louise Highsmith, 55, was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Tuesday and is being held without bail.
The victim is Herbert Lee Robinson, 52, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Tony Hendrick.
Hendrick said Robinson had a single stab wound in his upper chest and died from massive internal hemorrhage.
Police were called about 3 p.m. on Christmas Eve and found Robinson dead.
Lt. Robert Kegler said the death was the result of a domestic dispute.
