An early morning car crash on Highway 905 killed two people Sunday, according to Lance Cpl. Sonny Collins with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Just after midnight, a 1998 Lexus driven by Michael Lee Baker, 39, was traveling north on Highway 905 when he crossed the center line near Oak Log Lake Road and hit a 1986 Chrysler head on.
Shane Carter-Ward, 21, from Conway, was driving the Chrysler and died at Conway Medical Center, according to deputy coroner Tony Hendrick.
Baker, also of Conway, died at the scene, according to Hendrick.
The crash is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
