Investigators said the man killed an Atlantic Beach pawn shop owner a few days after that murder. Jeffery Rae Jennings and Brenna Renee Jennings were captured in Tennessee and brought back to Horry County.
However, the question remains, who will prosecute Jennings first?
Greenville has not yet served its warrants, but, once it does, it will be left to the solicitor in the upstate and the Horry County solicitor to decide which district will prosecute first.
Horry County police said Jeffery Rae Jennings shot and killed Thomas Holcomb a few weeks ago at Holcomb's business, Thee Pawn Shop in Atlantic Beach. Police also arrested and charged Brenna Renee Jennings with accessory after the fact of murder..
Police in Greenville say Jeffery Jennings shot and killed a youth league football coach, just a couple of days before he killed the pawn shop owner.
Just because the Jennings' are currently in Horry County does not mean they will be prosecuted there first. But, in the meantime, both will sit in jail since a judge denied bond for Jeffrey Jennings, and Brenna Jennings waived her bond hearing.
