The National Hurricane Center has issued a tropical storm warning for the U.S. East Coast from Flagler Beach, Florida to Cape Charles Light, Virginia.
A tropical storm warning means that tropical storm conditions are expected within the watch area generally within 36 hours.
Andrea's maximum sustained winds increased to 60 mph (95 kph) and made landfall in Florida around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
A flood watch has been issued for the entire area and will be in effect through tomorrow afternoon
