Georgetown police release surveillance photo of man wanted in connection with armed robbery

The Georgetown police are asking for the public's help identifying and locating a man they are hoping to question about an armed robbery that took place on May 2.

The armed robbery took place at Not 2 Shabby off of Highway 17 Bypass in Murrells Inlet, according to a news release.

The release said that around 11:30 p.m. a man entered the business through the unlocked front door and pointed what appeared to be a hand gun at the victim, demanding money.

The man left the scene with an unknown amount of cash.

He is believed to have been driving a gold Impala, according to the release.

No one was injured.

Police are asking for anyone who has information about the robbery or who can identify the man in the above photo to call that Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at 843-546-5101.
