A Georgetown man has been arrested in connection to an armed robbery that happened on February 6, according to Carrie Cuthbertson with the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.
Jimmy Cagle, 39, is being charged with Kidnapping, Armed Robbery and Robbery While Armed with a Deadly Weapon.
Sheriff's deputies said Cagle held a knife to the victim's throat and took the victim's wallet. They said Cagle held the victim at knife point while demanding the victim drive him around Georgetown.
Cagle eventually took off with an unknown amount of cash, according to deputies. The victim was not hurt.
Cagle was arrested Monday after a tip led deputies to a home in the Sampit Community of Georgetown County, where they found Cagle.
Cagle also has three active Assault & Battery Third Degree warrants with the sheriff's office on unrelated cases.
He's being held in the Georgetown County Detention Center.
