Georgetown building closes due to sinkhole

Another downtown Georgetown business is closing because of a sinkhole.

A building collapsed into the sinkhole on Highway 17 about four weeks ago.

The hole formed about two weeks before that.

Landy's Cleaners is shutting down its Fraser Street store because they say the building is not safe.

An engineering firm is trying to find out if a Department of Transportation drainage project caused the sinkhole.
