Fundraisers planned to support search for Brittanee Drexel

It's been almost two years since a teenager on spring break went missing from the Grand Strand.

Brittanee Drexel disappeared from Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach in April 2009. She was 17-years-old.

There have been nearly 50 searches for Drexel, but still no signs of her. Her family is planning fundraisers along the Grand Strand to continue to fund more searches.

"We need some sort of closure, you know. Not knowing is what kills you. It really does," Drexel's grandmother, Carol Wagner told NewsChannel 15.
