Four charged following raid at Marlboro County nightclub

Two people have been charged with selling beer and liquor without license following a raid early Sunday morning at Dreamz nightclub at Highway 15/401 and Oak Hill Road in the McColl area of Marlboro County, according to officials with the Marlboro County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said the club had received a warning earlier this year, but hadn't complied by Sunday.

Two other people were also arrested during the raid for breach of peace, according to Lt. Sara Albarri with the Marlboro County Sheriff's Office.

The Florence County Sheriff's Office, Bennettsville Police, Scotland County Sheriff's Office, Highway Patrol and the State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) helped in the raid.

The Marlboro County Sheriff's Office said the investigation is ongoing.

According to the sheriff's office, those arrested were:

  • Willie Anthony Green, of Raeford, N.C, for breach of peace
  • Kenneth Westin Stephenson, of Fayetteville, N.C., for breach of peace
  • Dori Monique Sanders, of McColl, S.C., for unlawful sale of beer without a license and unlawful sale of liquor without a license
  • Lesley Snead, of Hope Mills, N.C., for unlawful sale of beer without a license and unlawful sale of liquor without a license
