A former Horry County Police Officer was jailed and denied bond on a new charge.

Charles Kenneth McLendon, 42, was arrested in December for Criminal Domestic Violence 1st Offense and Misconduct in Office after dash cam video from his patrol car showed him chasing his wife with his police car and harassing his wife.

He was terminated from the department.

McLendon is now facing a charge of Violation of Order of Protection.

McLendon was driving past the home of someone who had an order of protection that indicates that he is "temporarily restrained, prohibited, and forbidden to abuse, or threaten...the victim," according to a police report.

A magistrate judge denied McLendon bond Tuesday morning stating McLendon was not in stable condition.
