Two St. Andrews University football players have been charged in a drug bust, according to Laurinburg Police Chief Darwin Williams.

Williams said Isiah Page and Joshua Godwin have been charged following an investigation.

Police arrested Page and Godwin last week after marijuana was found in a dorm at St. Andrews Presbyterian University in Laurinburg.

Williams said Page is charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver drugs and possession with intent to sell and deliver drugs within 1,000 feet of a school.

Williams said Godwin was charged with drug paraphernalia.

Both charges are related to marijuana possession.

Laurinburg police got involved after being contacted by a St. Andrews University security officer, according to Williams.

The university's website list Page as a safety and Godwin as a running back with the team.

Page's bond has been set at $1,500 and Godwin's at $300.

We've contacted the university to learn the status of both men with the team and the college.

Police say these men were not booked into jail, but received a written promise or unsecured bond from the magistrates office.
