Flooding impacting traffic in parts of Myrtle Beach

Several parts of Myrtle Beach are experiencing flooding Monday afternoon.

Parts of Ocean Boulevard downtown, Oak Street and parts of Kings Highway mainly on the south end are affected, according to Captain David Knipes with the Myrtle Beach Police Department.

Police advise people to avoid the area until the storm passes and add some traffic lights are down and officers are having to direct traffic.
