Georgetown County deputies arrested Denzel Lanard Moyd, Bobby Eugene Miller, Presley Shawn Mitchum, Dewy Robert Donnelly and Derreck Lakeith Moyd for a home invasion in the McDonald Community Wednesday.

Deputies say the five men were wearing stocking caps and bandanas when one knocked on the door. When a man answered, deputies say two suspects pushed their way into the home and demanded money. They say the suspects were armed with what appeared to be handguns and blunt weapons.

One victim says he was hit by a stick. Another was able to escape out of a window and call 911. Neither was seriously hurt.

The suspects took off toward the Congaree area in a white Ford Crown Victoria. Georgetown County Sheriff's Deputies spotted a vehicle and stopped it. They say the people inside matched the descriptions of the people who forced their way into the home.

The five suspects and the evidence in the vehicle matched items that were taken from the scene.

They're being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center.
