Firefighters collect items for family burned out of home

Firefighters try to put out the fire.

North Myrtle Beach Fire Rescue is collecting clothing, bedding and toys for the Quiroga Ruiz family after they lost everything in an apartment fire on Ocean Boulevard last week.

You can bring your donation to any City of North Myrtle Beach Fire Station.

Please put your donation in a plastic bag and write "FF Anita Dorris" on the bag or on a note attached to the bag. Anita is a firefighter with the city who is helping with the collection. If you can, please also call Anita at (843) 450-0079 to let her know that you will be dropping a package off.
