Two men got into a fight Wednesday evening at the Walmart in Laurinburg and one of them pulled out a knife and cut the other, according to Laurinburg Police Chief Darwin Williams.

Police said a 28-year-old man said he was stabbed four times and now has 30 staples around his under arm and back area.

The man said he wasn't arguing with the person who stabbed him.

He said their girlfriends were fighting and when he went around to see what was going on, that's when the man stabbed him with the knife.

Jason Jordan is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, inflicting serious injury in connection with the stabbing.
