Fight over dog leads to shots fired in Darlington County
Darlington County, S.C. (WPDE) —
A man was wounded after he was struck by pellets from a gun fired Friday following a fight over a dog on Charles Drive in the Dovesville area of Darlington County, according to Lt. Robby Kilgo with the Darlington County Sheriff's Office.
Kilgo said two men got into a fight over a dog and that's when one of them fired a gun, causing the other to be hit with pellets from the gun.
The man is being examined at the hospital and the suspect has been arrested and taken to the W. Glen Campbell Detention Center.
His name and specific charges will be released later Friday evening.
