      Driver hit by train in Marion County dies


      SELLERS, S.C. (WPDE) - One person died in a crash involving a car and a train in Marion County. It happened on secondary 83 in the town of Sellers just after 6:15 p.m. Saturday.




      Coroner Jerry Richardson said the victim is Bobby White, 66, of Sellers.




      According to Sgt. Bob Beres with Highway Patrol

      ,



      White
      was traveling west when he disregarded stop arms and flashers that indicated a train was coming.




      White
      went around the stop arms and was hit by a CSX train traveling north, added Beres.




      White died at the scene.




      The crash is under investigation.
