A Florence County Sheriff's deputy was hurt Thursday night while trying to subdue a suspect on Siesta Drive in Florence, according to Major Michael Nunn with the Florence County Sheriff's Office.
We're told he apparently sprained his wrist.
There's no word on if the suspect was injured.
We're still waiting to learn the nature of the call and what led to the deputy getting hurt.
More information will be released Friday morning, according to Major Nunn.
