Marion County sheriff's deputies are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday at 1 p.m. on Willie Hodge Road near Mullins.
The 64-year-old victim said that a man came to his door and fired four shots, hitting him three times.
The victim said he was shot once in the arm, leg and stomach.
The suspect then ran into the woods.
The victim was taken to the hospital. His condition has not been released.
Deputies used bloodhound tracking dogs to track the suspect but were unsuccessful.
