Deadly storms move through Eastern U.S.

Deadly storms have moved through the eastern part of the U.S. Officials in Smithfield in central New York say four people were killed when a storm rolled through Tuesday night, destroying four homes.

The Post-Standard reports one home was ripped from its foundation and tossed into another house.

In Carroll County, Maryland, a child was killed when a tree fell at a summer camp. Six other kids were injured.
