Darlington deputies seize nearly $150,000 worth of pot

Wednesday, deputies assigned to the Special Enforcement Unit of the Darlington County Sheriff's Office seized marijuana with a street sales value of $148,800, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.
The bust came during a traffic stop on Interstate-20 in the Lamar area.
Sirdonna Nattila Sweeting and Regina Nicole Wilson, both of Georgia, were arrested, according to Sheriff Wayne Byrd.
They are being charged with Trafficking Marijuana, according to a sheriff's office spokesperson.
Both are in custody and are awaiting bond hearing at the Darlington County Detention Center, Byrd said.
