Crews spent five hours battling fire at Darlington plant

Darlington city firefighters spent about five hours trying to get a small fire at the Hartsville Oil Mill contained and under control, according to Darlington City Fire Chief Patrick Cavanaugh.
He said a spark got into the ventilation system and caused a small dust fire just before 6:30 Saturday evening.
He added because it was a dust fire it took a while to get to it.
Cavanaugh said after five hours it was under control .
The fire caused no damage.
Crews will monitor the situation just in case the fire rekindles.
