Crash causes injuries, snarls traffic on Highway 707

Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a wreck on the Highway 707 connector near the Socastee Library in Horry County Wednesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol,

Corporal Sonny Collins with the Highway Patrol said one car pulled out of the library and t-boned the other vehicle.

Horry County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Justin Gibbons said four people were injured in the wreck. Two of the people injured were critical, including one child, and two others were in stable condition.
