Conway police have charged Khalil Saleem Moore, 36, of Conway with murder in connection with the December 27, 2012 murder of Dwayne Gaghum on Hemingway Street.
Moore was arrested in Columbus, Ohio (http://www.carolinalive.com/news/story.aspx?id=979199#.Uw3_zvldV8E) last November. He was extradited back to South Carolina and was served his warrants on Tuesday.
He is charged with Murder, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime, and Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person.
On December 27, 2012, Conway Police responded to a shots fired call (http://www.carolinalive.com/news/story.aspx?id=841484#.Uw4ABfldV8E) on Hemingway Street around 3:30 pm. While on their way to the call, officers were notified of a vehicle crashing into a residence on Taylor Square, adjacent to Hemingway Street.
Officers found Dwayne Gaghum in a Dodge truck with what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to the head.
