Conway man charged with murder turns himself into police

A Conway man was arrested and charged with a 2009 Myrtle Beach murder.

Alex Antwain Graham, 23, is also charged with two counts of kidnapping, armed robbery, first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. All of the charges stem from an April 22, 2009 home invasion at Carolina Breeze Apartments on Cedar Street that resulted in the shooting death of Antonio Grate, 20, according to Myrtle Beach police.

In May, a man gave police information about the shooting while being interviewed in connection with an unrelated incident, according to an affidavit released by Myrtle Beach police. He told police he and three other people, including Graham, were responsible for the invasion of Grate's apartment.

Graham turned himself into the Conway Police Department Tuesday.

He's being held at the Myrtle Beach Jail.
