Daved Kinard is in a business that thrives on people's emotions--floristry.

When his community was shaken by tragedy on Monday, he knew the perfect way to help the City of Conway heal was right at hand. It was the bows he so frequently ties.

"This is just our way of being able to provide something that I thought the community could use a positive spin on," Kinard said.

Kinard and his employees at The Daisy Fair Flowers made nearly 100 bows Thursday, and after a Facebook post was shared throughout the community, he gave away 70 to Conway businesses to hang on their doors.

He said he has a list of others who plan to pick up some of the remaining bows Friday morning.

"I looked up CresCom's colors, which happen to be red, white, and blue," Kinard explained, "And, I thought, in our society, the way things are right now, that I just thought this would be our way of giving back."

Kinard said he will make as many bows as he can, until his supply of ribbons ran out.

He says he has a new order of ribbon arriving Monday.
