Carolina Spotlight: Limos for Learning

Students from Browns Ferry cheered by other students / IMPDI Worldwide

110 students from Georgetown area schools were treated like stars Monday as part of the Limos for Learning program.

The students got limousine rides to Ryan's Restaurant in Georgetown. They were treated to a walk down the red carpet and lunch and entertainment inside.

Limos for Learning is an innovative reading program that rewards kids who improve their reading skills.

If you eat at Ryan's between now and April 30th, Ryan's will donate money to the program to help buy more than 850 books for elementary students in Horry and Georgetown counties.
