7/7 Update: According to a report released Monday by North Myrtle Beach, the driver of the vehicle, Ila Rae Ward, was charged with Driving Under the Influence in connection to this wreck.
North Myrtle Beach Police and North Myrtle Beach Fire were called to a wreck Friday night on Main Street just after 10:30 pm.
A car flipped and was upside down in the roadway on Oak and Main Streets.
A female driver struck a parked, unoccupied car in front of Hoskins Restaurant on Main Street, which caused her vehicle to flip over, according to Pat Dowling, North Myrtle Beach's Public Information Officer.
She was trapped in her car and had to be freed by emergency crews.
The woman was then taken to Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. We're told she's in serious but stable condition.
Blood tests are being done to determine if she was driving under the influence, according to Dowling.
Main Street was blocked for more than an hour while emergency crews were on the scene.
