Camping trailer stolen from church, belonged to Conway Boy Scout troop

A Conway Boy Scout troop needs help finding a trailer filled with camping gear that was stolen from them.

The trailer and gear belonged to Boy Scout Troop 804, and it was worth thousands of dollars.

It was parked in the First United Methodist Church's parking lot in Conway when it was last seen about one week ago.

"Our Boy Scout code is to be trustworthy and not to steal and just to see that happen is not good," said Cantley Zack.

The troop had its monthly camping trip Friday and was forced to scrape together what they had to make it happen.

The troop is hopeful someone will return it to them.

"I'm sorry that someone needed it so bad that they took it from the boys, but if they can let us have our equipment back, we'd be happy with that, walk away and smile and say our blessings," said Bill Hatoway.

Conway Police haven't located the trailer yet, according to Lt. Selena Small. She said the trailer has been registered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC).

If you've seen the trailer pictured above, or have any information about it, you're encouraged to call police.
