Bus vandalism suspects caught on video

Loris police released surveillance video that shows two young men running near Loris High School the night 20 buses and a classroom were vandalized.

The video was taken around 2 a.m. Thursday, April 19th.

In the video, one suspect appears to be wearing a mask and the other appears to be wearing a shirt over his face.

The suspects sprayed a fire extinguisher through a broken window in a classroom and slashed 25 bus tires, broke windows and spray painted graffiti.

The year "2012" was spray painted on one of the buses, leaving school district officials to believe it was probably a senior prank.

The vandalism caused a minor delay of about 15 minutes for some students attending Loris High School. Buses had to be pulled in from other parts of the district.

tate investigators have reviewed the damage and the video, which they hope will lead to an arrest.

The SC Law Enforcement Division (SLED) is now assisting the investigation.
