Budget cuts mean possible end to some downtown Myrtle Beach festivals

The Oceanfront Merchants Association in Myrtle Beach says a big budget cut from the Downtown Redevelopment Corporation will mean the end of the Oktoberfest and St. Patrick's day festivals in the downtown area.

For the 2014-2015 budget, DRC's Executive Director David Sebok says the board has voted to give the Oceanfront Merchants Association $170,000. That is $90,000 less then what they normally get each year.
