Do you lead a busy life?

A Myrtle Beach woman recommends you stop, take a breath and meditate.

"It clears the scatter of your brain," said Melanie Moore. "You’re not thinking about what you have to do tomorrow or what you have to do later today, or the shopping list. It just helps you get centered."

Moore points out meditation doesn't just mean sitting down to breathe.

It can happen while doing something you love, such as cooking or running or anything that gets you 'in the zone'.

Moore is part of a global mediation group called MedMob.

She invites you to a public meditation event this weekend.

It's Saturday, March 10 at 2 p.m. at The Market Common. They'll be at the fountain in front of Barnes and Noble.
